GIRLS’ WATER POLO

* Christine Meier and Ashley Parish, Long Beach Poly: Meier scored four goals and Parish had three as the Jackrabbits beat Bell Gardens, 9-2, in a Southern Section Division I wild-card game. Long Beach Poly will play top-seeded Santa Margarita on Thursday.

* Erika Hanson and Alex Koran, Tustin: Hanson scored seven goals and Koran had five as the Tillers defeated Cypress, 16-6, in a Division II wild-card game.

* Rebecca Edwards and Megan Gable, Rowland Heights Rowland: Edwards scored four goals and Gable scored one and made 11 steals in an 8-3 victory over Arcadia in a Division III wild-card game at Pasadena City College.
