Driver, 18, Jailed in Fatal Crash After Grad Party
A high school graduation celebration left a 16-year-old girl dead and three other teens hurt when their 18-year-old driver veered his truck into a guardrail early Friday, California Highway Patrol officials said.
The driver, Eric Hanson, was arrested on suspicion of felony driving under the influence.
He graduated Thursday from El Modena High School in Orange.
Alexis Jayne Renea Wallace was sitting in the front passenger seat and died in the crash.
Hanson, Gregory Hendrickson, 18, and a 17-year-old boy suffered minor injuries.
