Man Killed, Boy Injured in Shootout With Guard

A 19-year-old man was killed and a teenage boy was critically injured in a shootout with a security guard at an apartment complex, authorities said Saturday.
Raymond Cazessus of Placentia died at a hospital after the 9:20 p.m. Friday shooting in the 700 block of West La Jolla Street, police said. The unidentified boy remained in critical condition Saturday.
Police said at least one of the pair shot at the guard, who returned fire. The guard was not injured.
