Rk. School (Div.) : Comment

1. FAIRFAX (City): Artesia transfer Renardo Sidney, a 6-10 junior, will be the center of attention, again.

2. WESTCHESTER (City): All-City backcourt of Jarred Dubois and Oscar Bellfield form quite a tandem.

3. TAFT (City): North Carolina-bound guard Larry Drew Jr. leads five returning starters.

4. MATER DEI (Div. I-AA): The 6-10 Wear twins, juniors Travis and David, are getting harder to tell apart.

5. COMPTON (Div. I-AA): USC-bound swingman DeMar DeRozan can take over a game, but won’t have to.

6. DOMINGUEZ (Div. I-AA): Dorsey transfer Jordan Hamilton, a 6-7 forward, heads a deep, athletic team.

7. CAMPBELL HALL (Div. III-AA): If you haven’t heard of Jrue Holiday (UCLA) by now, wait a couple years.

8. GAHR (Div. I-AA): Casper Ware (Long Beach State) and Cameron Nettles led Gladiators to 24-5 mark.

9. SANTA MARGARITA (Div. I-AA): Jaime Serna (UCSB) and Klay Thompson (Wash. State) will have ample help.

10. PASADENA (Div. II-AA): Keion Bell, a 6-4 senior guard, sat out last season after transfer from Gardena Serra.

11. BISHOP MONT.(Div. II-AA): Pioneer League MVP Leland Jones returns with top junior PG Justin Cobbs.

12. ETIWANDA (Div. I-A): Alta Loma transfer Tre Brewer, a 6-5 senior guard, joins talented junior class.

13. LOS ALAMITOS (Div. I-A): Corbin Moore, a 6-10 senior post player, will be surrounded by well-skilled guards.

14. LONG BEACH POLY (Div. I-AA): Jackrabbits added Cabrillo transfer Travis Wilson to an already deep team.

15. HARVARD-WESTLAKE (Div. I-AA): Tennessee-bound big man Renaldo Woolridge must carry a young squad.

16. LOYOLA (Div. I-AA): Hollis Thompson, a 6-8 junior, is his class’ top-rated small forward on the West Coast.

17. LONG BEACH JORDAN (Div. I-AA): Go-to guy Larry Anderson graduated, but still plenty of talent left behind.

18. DIAMOND RANCH (Div. II-AA): Junior wing Garrett Johnson, senior guard Ryan Kelley should elevate teammates.

19. COLONY (Div. II-AA): Sophomore Tyler Lamb, a 6-5 wing, will have inside help from 6-7 senior Michael Bostic.

20. CRESPI (Div. I-AA): Celts return three of top four scorers from team that went 11-3 in tough Mission League.

21. SIMI VALLEY (Div. I-AA): Michael Meza and Lorne Jackson were team’s top scorers and rebounders last season.

22. SANTA BARBARA (Div. I-A): Roberto Nelson, a 6-4 junior guard, was CalHiSports’ state freshman of the year.

23. LAKEWOOD (Div. I-AA): The Lancers have the size and athleticism to join the Moore League race.

24. EL TORO (Div. I-A): The Chargers rely heavily on their guards, returning three with quality experience.

25. PALISADES (City): Dolphins return leading scorer, rebounder and playmaker, forming City’s No. 4 team.
