Blaze burns on Air Force base

A fire Saturday on Travis Air Force Base destroyed at least 80 vacant homes scheduled for demolition, fire officials said.
The eight-alarm fire, which was 80% contained Saturday night, started as a grass fire about 3 p.m. and quickly spread to the base.
