Allison Scurich drove through traffic in the lane and was fouled with nine-tenths of a second left and hit two free throws to give Aliso Niguel (12-15) a victory in the first-round game at Aliso Niguel. Scurich, who had played a playoff soccer game earlier in the day, finished 16 points to lead the Wolverines. Tinesha Lewis, who finished with a game-high 29 points for Saddleback (19-7), had tied the score at 52-52 on a layup with 12 seconds left.

Eisenhower 45, Lakewood 29
Mallory Avila had 13 points and six assists and Shanee Russell added eight points and 11 rebounds to lead host Eisenhower (21-7). Lakewood finished 15-14.

Etiwanda 63, Schurr 28
Freshman forward Lyneeka Boyd scored 11 points for Baseline Leauge champion Etiwanda (20-8), which had points from every player on the team.

Judith Smith had 13 points and 10 assists and was one of four players who scored in double figures for top-seeded Long Beach Poly (23-2) in a first-round victory over visiting Littlerock (15-10).

Anna Fakatou scored 18 points and Neka Mixon added 16 points and seven assists to lead host third-seeded Long Beach Wilson (25-4), ranked No. 8 by The Times. Paramount is 15-13.

Samantha Hinde scored 11 points, including two free throws with 30 seconds left, to lift host Camarillo (16-10). Mission Viejo (14-12) led, 47-46, with 45 seconds left until Hinde was fouled. The teams, which were tied 30-30 at halftime, and traded the lead throughout the second half.

Jeanine Deno scored 33 points for host Crescenta Valley (22-5). Century finishes 14-13.

Lindsey Pluimer had 25 points, 10 rebounds and six assists to lead host San Clemente (22-4), ranked No. 3 by The Times. Thousand Oaks finishes 12-15.

Caitlin O’Neill had 15 points and Meggie Wagner added 10 points, six rebounds and six steals for Ventura (24-1), which had 25 steals in the Southern Section Division I-A first-round victory over visiting Nogales.

Nondi Johnson had 27 points for Cathedral City (19-6) in a victory over visiting West Valley (15-13). Audrey Fooks had 20 points for West Valley.

Ally Wade had 23 points to lead host El Dorado (24-3), ranked No. 23 by The Times. Sunny Hills finishes 15-11.

Katie Kissee scored 23 points, including seven three-pointers, to lead Villa Park (18-9). Arroyo finishes 16-11.

Sami Whitcomb had 17 points, making 13 of 13 free throws, and eight rebounds and point guard Maddy Lewis had six steals and two assists to lift host No. 2-seeded Buena (20-6). Paso Robles finishes 12-15.

Lisa Yamasaki scored 18 points and Paola Gupilian added 16 points to lead host No. 4-seeded Keppel (22-7).

Lindsay Allen had 26 points and 14 rebounds to lead Orange Lutheran (20-6), which led, 22-15, at the half. San Dimas finishes 22-7.

Cara Enright had 28 points on nine-of-12 shooting from the field and seven-of-eight from the free-throw line to lead Rosary (23-4), which has won six consecutive games. Estancia is 11-16.

Emily Tay scored 18 points and Lindsey Louie had 17 points to lift host top-seeded Marlborough (23-3), which, led 40-12, at halftime. The Mustangs are ranked No. 21 by The Times. Ava Reyes scored 16 points for San Gabriel Mission (14-8).

Oaks Christian 43, Morro Bay 41
Kayla Rutherford scored 16 points and Rachel Berman added 10 points and seven rebounds to lead Oaks Christian (15-9). Margay Edwards had 16 points for visiting Morro Bay (15-8).

St. Monica’s 44, St. Paul 41 (OT)
Kalia Williams scored 15 points and made the game-winning jump shot with 10 seconds left for host St. Monica (17-10). Kim Ramirez scored 17 points for St. Paul (17-11). Williams grabbed 10 rebounds to set the school’s single-season record.

Twentynine Palms 73, Bishop 53
Pua Barber had 18 points, 11 rebounds and six steals, Tracy Campese added 14 points and six steals and Samantha Casey tallied eight points, 13 rebounds and five steals to lead host Twentynine Palms (22-3). Bishop finished 16-13.

Angie Coronado had 19 points and nine assists and Ivessa Reyes added 16 points and eight rebounds to lead visiting Bell-Jeff (21-4). Andrea Morgan had 12 points and 10 rebounds for Bell-Jeff.

Tanya Tsikanavsky scored 21 points and grabbed 15 rebounds and Tani Brown added 19 points for second-seeded Brentwood (23-6) at Maranatha (11-14).

Cantwell Sacred Heart 58, St. Margaret’s 55
Serena Rubacalva finished with nine points, all on three-point baskets in the fourth quarter to lead a comeback by Cantwell Sacred Heart (21-7) from a 10-point deficit and the Cardinals won the Southern Section Division IV-A game. Kathy Suria led Cantwell Sacred Heart with 19 points. Stephanie Davis had a game-high 25 points for host St. Margaret’s (13-6).

Downey Calvary Chapel 38, Whittier Christian 35
Joy Butler had 10 points and nine rebounds to lead host No. 1-seeded Downey Calvary Chapel (22-3). Whittier Christian is 17-9.

Flintridge Prep 51, Arrowhead Christian 47
Freshman point guard Jordan Toyama scored 15 points and senior guard Jami Quan had 14 points, including four three-pointers, for Flintridge Prep (20-4). Quan had eight points in the fourth quarter, including a three-pointer to put Flintridge Prep ahead, 47-44. Flintridge Prep will play Downey Calvary Chapel in the quarterfinals Wednesday. Arrowhead Christian finishes at 19-8.

Montclair Prep 51, Western Christian 35
Indira Kaljo scored 18 points and Jessie Mira had 16 points and five assists for Montclair Prep (16-9) in a second-round game at Western Christian (16-12).

Ontario Christian 61, Brethren Christian 46
Niki Voortman had 22 points and 10 rebounds, Stacy Nanninga had 16 points and 10 rebounds and Jessica Hibma had 11 points and 11 rebounds to lift host Ontario Christian (22-2). Brethren Christian is 19-9.

Windward 68, Desert 30
Hailey Dunham scored 24 points and seven assists, Erica Latimer added 23 points, 12 rebounds, seven steals and six assists and Ali Landes scored 15 points for third-seeded Windward (22-4), which won its 13th consecutive game. Juliette Mafei scored 12 points for visiting Desert (11-8), which trailed, 22-3, after the first quarter and, 42-12, at halftime.

Senior Ashley Trotter finished with 24 points, 10 rebounds and four steals and freshman Kaitlyn Trotter contributed 22 points and 20 rebounds for San Dimas (22-6), which travels to Orange Lutheran for a first-round game Saturday. Duarte (10-13) cut a 16-point second quarter deficit to 36-30 with 3:44 left in the third quarter before Ashley Trotter made back to back three-point baskets. San Dimas went on a 20-4 run in the fourth quarter. Duarte was led by Christine Thomas, who had 14 points and nine rebounds, and freshman Zequioa Williams with 10 points.
