Twins Corinne Marks-Stevens and Lauren Marks-Stevens of Chatsworth (3-2 in league) defeated Nilou Jabbari and Tamara Lerman, 8-7 (7-4) at No. 2 doubles as the Chancellors won at Birmingham (2-6, 0-5).

Liliana Rubio and Jessica Aleman, playing No. 1 and 2 singles, respectively, for Jefferson (3-4, 3-2), swept at love against Dorsey (0-4, 0-4).

The deciding match at No. 3 singles featured Geradine Jiravanichsakul defeating Barbara Hernandez by a score of 8-7 and 12-10 in the tiebreaker. Sarah de la Cruz also won her set at No. 1 singles, 8-3, for host Monroe (5-3, 4-1). Sylmar drops to 2-3 in league.

Vaishali Ramasamy defeated Jenny Chang, 8-5, at No. 4 singles for host Reseda (6-2, 3-2), which snapped a two-game losing streak with the win.

Catherine Rosenwald and Betty An won their No. 3 doubles, 8-1, in the loss for host Van Nuys (5-1 in league).

No. 1 singles player Sarah de la Cruz won, 8-3, to lead host Monroe (4-3, 3-1), which won three tie-breakers, two in No. 3 and 4 singles and one in No. 1 doubles. Reseda is 5-2 overall and 2-2 in league.

Kim Aballat won, 8-0, at No. 1 singles to lead Sylmar (4-2, 2-2) past visiting San Fernando (0-7, 0-4).
