Fudge Brownie Pie

Dear SOS: Many years ago you published a “My Best Recipe” for a brownie pie. This pie was quick, easy and so very good. I’m having my kitchen remodeled, and I’ve lost or misplaced some recipes. If you can find this brownie pie recipe, I’d be most grateful.

Heat the oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease an 8-inch pie pan.
Beat the eggs in a small mixer bowl. Blend in the sugar and melted butter.
Combine the flour, cocoa and salt and add to the butter mixture. Stir in the vanilla and nuts.
Pour the batter into the pan and bake until the center is just set, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool. Cut into wedges and sprinkle with powdered sugar, if desired.
