Boys’ basketball: Brentwood’s Maxwell Kupchak commits to UC Santa Barbara
Maxwell Kupchak, a 6-foot-7 senior from Brentwood, has committed to UC Santa Barbara, Coach Ryan Bailey said.
Kupchak, the son of Lakers general manager Mitch Kupchak, has been a varsity standout the last two seasons.
He will redshirt this coming season, then have four years to play for the Gauchos, according to Bailey.
