Boys’ basketball: Justin Eisen makes eight three-pointers in Chaminade victory

In a game for second place in the Mission League, Chaminade turned to guard Justin Eisen, who made eight three-pointers and finished with 26 points to lead the Eagles past Alemany, 73-58. Chaminade (20-4, 8-3) takes over second place from the Warriors (18-9, 7-4).

Michael Oguine had 18 points and Trevor Stanback 14 points and 11 rebounds. Brandon Boyd led Alemany with 21 points.

Loyola (24-1, 9-1) wrapped up the league championship, rallying for a 66-56 victory over Harvard-Westlake. Thomas Welsh and Max Hazzard each scored 16 points. Hazzard also had 10 assists. Khalil Bedart-Ghani contributed 12 points. Alex Copeland led Harvard-Westlake with 19 points.

Sherman Oaks Notre Dame picked up its first Mission League victory with an 48-44 win over St. Francis. Luca Ferrari had 15 points. Kyle Leufroy led St. Francis with 21 points.

In the Del Rey League, Tavrion Dawson scored 30 points in Gardena Serra’s 79-57 win over St. Bernard.

In the Camino Real League, Cathedral defeated St. Paul, 55-35. St. Monica defeated Mary Star, 74-54. Kaivon Simab scored 20 points.
