Boys’ basketball: Sierra Canyon wins tournament championship in Missouri

Sierra Canyon is on a cross-country business trip in basketball, and the Trailblazers accomplished their first step on Saturday night in winning the Bass tournament championship in Missouri.
They defeated Memphis East, 75-59, to improve to 15-1.
Cody Riley scored 22 points and had 16 rebounds. Marvin Bagley III contributed 18 points and 12 rebounds. Adam Seiko and Remy Martin added 15 and 14 points, respectively.
Next up is a trip to Massachusetts for a Monday showdown against Indiana La Lumiere, considered the No. 1 team in the country by some.
