Boys’ soccer: Birmingham reaches City Section Division I final
Erick Villatoro scored his 21st goal of the season and Anthony Rivera added another goal to help Birmingham defeat Locke, 2-0, in a City Section Division I boys’ soccer semifinal match on Friday.
Goalie Gerson Mejicanos recorded his 13th shutout of the season.
The Patriots will play in next Saturday’s 3 p.m. championship game at Contreras against the winner of Monday’s game between Bell and Palisades.
