Football: 88.5% of NFL draftees were multiple sport athletes in high school
A stunning 224 out of 253 NFL draftees participated in a sport other than football in high school, according to Trackingfootball.com. That’s 88.5%
That should send a message to the many coaches and parents who seem to be focused on specialization.
Track and field had the highest participation besides football at 58.5%.
Clearly, the NFL drafters are pointing out that participating in multiple sports in high school is a good thing.
