Football: Former San Pedro QB Kenny Potter stars for San Jose State
- Share via
San Pedro Coach Mike Walsh has always believed in Kenny Potter, perhaps the best quarterback he ever coached.
Potter didn’t get a scholarship after graduating from San Pedro. He went to junior college and became a standout at Long Beach City College.
Now he’s the starting quarterback for San Jose State and showing his stuff.
He had 329 yards passing last week to lead San Jose State to an overtime win over UNLV.
Potter, who also can run, is only going to get beter.
