Football: Former Taft coach Troy Starr to step down at Helix

Troy Starr, a former Woodland Hills Taft coach, has announced he will step down at Helix High in San Diego at the end of this season.
Starr said it was a “non-football related” decision.
Helix is 5-1 this season.
Starr is in his eighth season at Helix. His record is 77-17.
He was the head coach at Taft for 14 years.
