Football: Game moved because of glass in soil content

Palm Springs was supposed to host Palm Desert in a football game on Friday night, but the game ended up being moved to the newly opened Rancho Mirage High after glass slivers were discovered in soil content that was spread over the Palm Springs field as part of regular maintenance, according to the Desert Sun.
Palm Desert won the game, 31-14.
