It’s time to begin a sneak peek at the players to watch for the 2016 high school football season.

The most intriguing position this season will be quarterback, and there’s going to be a fascinating debate whether the top quarterbacks from the class of 2017 are better than the top quarterbacks from the class of 2018.

You have seniors coming off terrific junior seasons _ Jack Sears (San Clemente, Duke commit); Chase Garbers (Corona del Mar, Cal commit); Tristan Gebbia (Calabasas, Nebraska commit).

There’s the talented seniors who are coming back from injuries _ Tyler Lytle (Servite, Colorado commit); Nick Moore (Hart); Matthew McDonald (Mission Viejo).
