Football: Running back Torrance Brumfield returns for Crespi

Things haven’t been going well for Crespi, which is 2-4 and begins Serra League play on Friday against Loyola.
But the Celts’ offense figures to get a boost with the return of junior running back Torrance Brumfield, who has been sidelined since being injured in the third game of the season against Bishop Gorman.
Brumfield’s return doesn’t mean the Celts are going to beat a surging Loyola team that dominated Alemany last week.
“Loyola is getting better weekly,” Crespi Coach Troy Thomas said.
