Help will be arriving for several football teams this week.
Monday is freedom day for players who transferred without moving The sitout period ends, and they become eligible immediately.
Unbeaten Hawkins is adding standout receiver Joseph Branch, a transfer from Taft, and linebacker Jac’quan Shaw, a transfer from Garfield.
Corona Centennial has six athletes who become eligible, according to the Southern Section eligibility list.
Receiver Jake Bailey becomes eligible at St. John Bosco after transferring from JSerra.
