Football: Some early bowl projections [Updated]
Our crack bowl predictor, Eric Maddy, has put together some projections for Selection Sunday when the CIF state championshp regional bowl pairings are set to be released at 1 p.m. on Time Warner Cable Channel 101 and HD 354.
Open: St. John Bosco vs. Corona Centennial or Chaminade.
If Centennial is selected, Division I will be San Diego Mission Hills vs. Bakersfield. Chaminade would play San Diego St. Augustine or Hart in Division II.
If Chamindes goes Open, Centennial would face Mission Hills or Bakersfield, with St. Augustine vs. Hart.
In Division III, Corona del Mar will play Nordhoff.
In Division IV, Bakersfield Christian and View Park Prep are the only teams that have qualified. El Cajon Christian is going to court on Monday to try to force its way in.
