Football: There’s no lack of talent at Gardena Serra
- Share via
After having eight players sign letters of intent last month, Gardena Serra still has plenty of talent left for the upcoming football season.
Seniors Rasheem Green (lineman) and John Houston (Pac-12) have been offered scholarships by numerous schools from the Pac-12 and SEC. Running back Malik Roberson, who missed last season with a knee injury, is being recruited by UCLA, Arizona State and Nebraska.
Defensive lineman Corey Adolphus has been offered from Washington State, San Jose State and San Diego State. Defensive back Stanley Norman has a UCLA offer. And Coach Scott Altenberg believes defensive back Alphonso Lester and receiver Deontay Burnett will soon have offers.
As for juniors, receiver Brandon Burton holds offers from USC, UCLA, Florida and Florida State. Linebacker Blake Walls has been offered by Florida State.
