At Friday’s Pac-12 media day, former Gardena Serra receiver Marqise Lee of USC offered some insights from his high school days, such as why players shouldn’t be afraid to be multiple-sport athletes and how he became a top receiver.

Lee is being billed as a Heisman Trophy candidate. He’s the reigning Pac-12 offensive player of the year.
