Water polo: Luke Henriksson leads Harvard-Westlake past Mater Dei
- Share via
The Harvard-Westlake and Santa Ana Mater Dei water polo teams renewed their rivalry on Sunday in the California state summer championship game. This time, it was the Wolverines prevailing, 8-4.
Luke Henriksson, a UCLA commit, scored five goals for Harvard-Westlake. Both schools will be tough to beat in the fall in Southern Section Division 1. Mater Dei ended Harvard-Westlake’s 50-match winning streak last fall.
In the girls’ final, Agoura won the championship with a win over Harvard-Westlake.
