Up next for the Kings: Monday vs. Colorado
When: 7:30 p.m.
Where: Staples Center.
On the air: TV: FS West, Radio: 1150.
Records: Kings 19-14-6, Avalanche 21-18-1.
Record vs. Avalanche: 0-1.
Update: The Kings will wear vintage Forum blue and gold uniforms as they honor player-turned-broadcaster Daryl Evans in a pregame ceremony. Their scheduled Sunday practice was canceled as a reward for their 4-1 victory over Vancouver on Saturday, which improved their record to 10-0-0 when they’ve scored three goals or more. They’ve won three straight home games and will play their next five at Staples Center. They’ve killed 26 straight penalties and 73 of their last 76, a 96.1% success rate. Left wing Simon Gagne (concussion) remains out indefinitely. The Avalanche has won its last two games — including a 4-2 victory at Anaheim on Saturday — and eight of its last 10. Forward Matt Duchene is expected to be out four weeks because of a knee injury.
