Time: 2 and 6 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 6 p.m. Monday (if necessary).
Friday’s games: San Diego (35-23) vs. Cal Poly (39-17), 2 p.m.; UCLA (39-17) vs. San Diego State (31-29), 6 p.m.
FYI: UCLA relief pitcher David Berg (6-0, 18 saves, 0.70 ERA) is a semifinalist for the Golden Spikes Award, given to the nation’s top player. ... Cal Poly, in only its second NCAA baseball playoff, has won 11 of its last 14 games. ... San Diego has won seven of nine, its only losses by walk-offs. ... San Diego State is hitting .274 as a team; Coach Tony Gwynn hit .338 during his major league career.
