Update: This is the third regular-season meeting between the clubs at the bottom of Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. Chivas USA won the first game, 3-1, on March 10 at StubHub Center, and the teams played to a 0-0 tie July 4 in Dallas. Chivas USA will be without forward Tristan Bowen and midfielder Gabriel Farfan, who are starting two-game suspensions because of recent fouls and MLS disciplinary actions.
