Update: Real Salt Lake was the last team to beat the Galaxy at StubHub Center, but that was nearly 15 months ago. The Galaxy is unbeaten in 26 games in Carson since then, the most recent a 1-0 win over Houston last week, with Alan Gordon’s goal in stoppage time ending a winless streak at five games. The goal was set up by Robbie Keane, who came off the bench in the second half to play for the first time since April 4. The reigning league most valuable player had sat out the seven previous games because of a strained groin. But the Galaxy is still far from healthy with defenders Robbie Rogers (Achilles) and A.J. DeLaGarza (groin) sidelined indefinitely. Real Salt Lake played the Galaxy to a scoreless tie in Utah this month. Javier Morales (concussion) and Joao Plata (broken foot), who played as second-half substitutes last week, should be available to start. The teams are tied in the Western Conference with 17 points each and are 11-11-7 in head-to-head play.
