Update: This is the third and final regular-season game between the two rivals in Major League Soccer’s Western Conference. Chivas USA won the first meeting, 2-1, on March 30 at StubHub Center and Vancouver won June 19, 3-1, in Canada. Chivas USA is coming off a 3-2 victory over the New York Red Bulls and will have two of its players, forward Tristan Bowen and midfielder Gabriel Farfan, back after serving two-game suspensions.
