LeBron James reveals his top three basketball players of all-time
LeBron James, the reigning MVP of the NBA, was asked to name the top three basketball players of all-time in a recent interview with Fox Sports.
At first, James struggled.
“Michael Jordan,” James said. “Uhhh, wow, Michael Jordan. [James then proceeded to make a chipmunk noise.] Ahh, this is tough.”
After stalling, James decided on the next two players on his list: Dr. J and Larry Bird.
“You give me three, oh my God,” James said.
The interviewer then pointed out that James picked Bird instead of Magic Johnson, a controversial choice considering their rivalry.
James immediately reconsidered.
“Can I get four?” he asked, before adding another pick. “Magic.”
The Miami Heat superstar has averages of 27.6 points, 7.3 rebounds and 6.9 assists in his career. Perhaps it was wise that he took his time choosing those players. One day, he might be in their company.
