UCLA baseball: James Kaprielian named to U.S. collegiate team
UCLA pitcher James Kaprielian has been selected to the U.S. collegiate national team, which will compete internationally this summer.
Kaprielian, a sophomore, is 5-3 with a 2.20 earned-run average this season. He has 61 strikeouts in 61 1/3 innings.
He had two saves and a 1.55 ERA in 34 relief appearances last season, helping the Bruins win the national championship.
