Chino Hills might have to change its nickname from Huskies to Bruins with all the players who could end up at UCLA.
The latest player to receive an offer is 6-foot-9 freshman Onyeka Okongwu after his impressive performance on Saturday against Bishop Montgomery.
He has been making steady progress all season.
Chino Hills, ranked No. 1 in the nation, has the three Ball brothers who have signed or committed to the Bruins.
USC also offered Okongwu on Sunday, Coach Steve Baik said. That’s how impressive Okongwu was before a packed crowd at Cerritos College.
