Boys’ basketball: St. John Bosco advances in double overtime

St. John Bosco (9-2) is getting good at winning overtime games.
In Hawaii on Thursday night, the Braves won their second double overtime game of the season, defeating Houston Baptist, 83-78. Rodney Henderson scored 27 points and Vance Jackson 20.
In the Santa Margarita tournament, Compton handed the host Eagles their first defeat, 57-52.
