NFL Bottom 10: Denver preparing for a temporary separation from home

Perhaps it was inevitable.

In the wake of Denver’s 14-59 thrashing by Oakland — that was also the score after three quarters — the Broncos (2-5) have agreed to a temporary separation from their home.

Sunday, they will play San Francisco in London. Locations for future games this year are being sought.

The Broncos’ defense evidently took the NFL’s warning against committing violent hits to mean ALL hits, allowing the Raiders to score the most points in a game in their 50-year history.

Denver fans said they still loved the Broncos but felt that some time apart would be best for both sides.
