Schurr Pair Lead Southeast Team

Two players from Schurr High School--forward Kevin Kurz, who led the Southeast/Long Beach area in scoring, and guard Todd Inatomi, who led the area in assists--head The Times’ All-Southeast prep basketball team.

The All-Southeast team is one of 10 from circulation areas that will be honored at The Times’ annual prep basketball awards ceremony at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at The Times Mirror Building in downtown Los Angeles. USC Coach Stan Morrison is scheduled to be the guest speakerA player of the year and coach of the year will be announced at the ceremony.

Coaches and sportswriters also selected center Rich Antee of Pius X, guard Keith Billingslea of South Gate, guard Richard Garcia of Bell Gardens, forward Kevin Holland of Cerritos, guard Andy Olivarez of Whittier, guard John Scott of St. Paul, guard Robert Stone of La Serna and guard Shawn Stroud of Downey.
