An electrical fire was responsible for an estimated $85,000 in damage to a building containing a pizza parlor and an adult movie theater Monday morning, according to the San Diego Fire Department. A force of about 50 firefighters was dispatched at 5:19 a.m. to Disco Pizza and Cinema F, located in the 1000 block of University Avenue, after smoke was seen coming from the building’s roof. It took firefighters 45 minutes to extinguish the blaze, which had started in the ceiling above the pizza parlor kitchen, a Fire Department spokesman said. No injuries were reported.
