Last Week: He gained 229 yards on 37 carries to lead a 24-21 overtime victory over Westlake. He had 159 yards in the first half alone.

Season: In four games, Monestime has carried 61 times for 325 yards. He averages 5.3 yards per carry.

Coach’s Comment: “We have high expectations for him,” said Thousand Oaks Coach Bob Richards, “but that night I think he exceeded our expectations. He’s a young kid who has potential. We had to keep getting first downs to keep their offense off the field, so we kept giving the ball to Marc.”
