Chapman’s Patterson Named MVP Again

Leone Patterson of the Chapman College women’s basketball team was named the California Collegiate Athletic Assn. Most Valuable Player Monday, making her the first player in conference history to receive the honor two years in a row.
Patterson, a 6-foot senior center, holds 7 school and 10 conference records, including career scoring with 1,614 points. She finishes her career with 900 rebounds.
Patterson averaged 19.6 points and 9.4 rebounds this season.
