Christian Heritage Coasts to Victory, 90-63

LA MESA — Jeff Steffen scored 17 points and Sean Smith added 16 as Christian Heritage College defeated Pacific Coast Christian, 90-63, in a nonconference men’s basketball game at Grossmont.
Christian Heritage (7-15), which never trailed, led by as many as 32 points in the second half. Bill Soucie and Rundy Foster had 14 apiece and William Cunningham added 13 for the Hawks. Pacific Coast Christian (1-8) was led by Steve Johnson’s 17 points.
Christian Heritage plays host Cal Baptist at Grossmont College at 7:30 p.m. Friday.
