Hilltop Gets Past Bonita Vista, 67-58

Hilltop High School outscored Bonita Vista, 27-16, in the fourth quarter Saturday night to win 67-58, in a playoff for second place in the Metro-Mesa League.
Hilltop (7-6, 15-13) will advance to play Madison in the first round of the San Diego Section 3-A playoffs.
Bryan Brooker and Judd Rachow led Hilltop with 19 points each. Rachow also had 19 rebounds. Bonita Vista’s Martin Gallardo was the game’s leading scorer with 21 points.
