Chaminade Girls Nip Agoura in Volleyball

The Chaminade High girls volleyball team has been a model of consistency this season. No matter how far ahead or behind the Eagles have been, they always have played steadily and unerringly.

“They don’t make mistakes. They’re just going to keep coming back at you and wait for you to make errors,” Agoura Coach Steve Gazzaniga said after his team blew a two-set lead en route to a 5-15, 13-15, 15-8, 15-5, 15-6 nonleague loss at Chaminade on Tuesday.

Senior Anna Suarez led Chaminade (4-1) with 26 kills and seven blocks. Juniors Alissa Levisohn and Kim Kisylia each had 12 kills for Chaminade, which beat the Chargers (3-2) in the final of the Calabasas tournament Saturday.
