El Modena’s Lacy Scores on Offense and Defense in Win

Roshawn Lacy scored two touchdowns, including a 99-yard interception return, to lead El Modena High School to a 21-14 Century League victory over Santa Ana Valley Friday at El Modena.
Nate Bogan caught a 72-yard pass from Marcus Esposito in the first quarter for the Vanguards (5-4, 2-2). Running back Pat Leborio scored El Modena’s second touchdown on a one-yard run in the second quarter.
Lacy also scored on a five-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Steve Calhoun.
Running back Steve McClaskey scored El Modena’s final touchdown with a three-yard run late in the third quarter.
Santa Ana Valley is 2-6 and 1-2-1.
