Poly 3, Verdugo Hills 1--Poly (5-0, 2-0) recorded an East Valley League win at home behind goals from Santos Mariscal, Juan Carlos Veloz and Juan Nambo.
Canoga Park 2, Cleveland 0--Jesus Cabrera and Javed Kakar each scored as Canoga Park (1-0-1 in league play) notched a West Valley League win at Canoga Park.
Taft 2, Reseda 1--Meir Cohen scored the winning goal early in the second half with an assist from Marvin Davila as visiting Taft (6-0, 2-0) won a West Valley League game. Dmitry Marmershteyn also scored an unassisted goal on a corner kick.
Chatsworth 3, El Camino Real 1--Ronald Mertzel, Colin Anthony and Craig Colgan scored for Chatsworth (4-2, 1-1 in West Valley League play) at El Camino Real (0-1-3, 0-1-1).
Grant 4, North Hollywood 1--Jose Hernandez led Grant to an East Valley League win with two goals.
Granada Hills 1, Kennedy 1--Granada Hills (0-4-2, 0-1-1) remains winless with the tie against its Mid-Valley League rival.
