Miraleste High School of Rancho Palos Verdes, the defending champion, will meet Westlake of Los Angeles for the Southern Section 4-A girls’ tennis title today at 1:30 p.m., part of a four-match program at the Claremont Club in Claremont.
Miraleste, the top-seeded team, is 17-0, and Westlake is 15-3-1.
San Marino (21-0) will meet Laguna Hills (22-0) for the 3-A championship, also at 1:30. San Marino is the No. 1-ranked team.
The two other matches are set for 10 a.m.--Indio (16-6) against Valencia of Placentia (16-4) in the 2-A, and St. Joseph of Santa Maria (20-4) against Mayfield of Pasadena (16-3) in the 1-A. St. Joseph is the only unseeded team to make any of the finals.
