Community College Basketball : Mase Leads OCC Past MiraCosta

Rob Mase had 14 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Orange Coast College men’s basketball team to a 62-49 victory over MiraCosta in the third-place game of the Mt. San Jacinto tournament Wednesday.
Dave Miles added 11 points and 7 rebounds for OCC (3-2).
In nonconference women’s basketball:
Orange Coast 60, Grossmont 52--Kristian Wilson had 18 points and 6 rebounds and teammate Kim Ellerman had 14 points and 9 rebounds for Orange Coast, which won at home.
Gilly Powell, a freshman from Woodbridge High School, had 12 points and 10 rebounds for OCC (3-2).
