Saddleback 46, Citrus 38--Renny Ingram scored 16 points, including a pair of clutch baskets in the final two minutes, and Vincent Smalls 14 to lead host Saddleback. It was the seventh consecutive victory for Saddleback (13-6, 1-0). Citrus is 5-14, 0-1.

Rancho Santiago 86, Riverside 70--Kenny Ammann scored 27 points and Alonzo Jamison 22 for Rancho Santiago (16-5, 1-0) at home.

In the South Coast Conference:

Fullerton 74, Long Beach 52--Troy Joseph scored 19 points for host Fullerton (11-8, 1-2), and Roy Joseph and Kevin Patrick scored 10 each. Long Beach (13-8, 1-2) shot 28% (18 of 65) from the field.

El Camino 84, Golden West 62--Golden West played a strong first half, trailing 40-38, but El Camino, the second-ranked team in the state, was able to take control in the second half. Charles White scored 20 for El Camino (19-1, 3-0). Anthony Howard scored 16 and Markus Muller-Stach 14 for Golden West (10-9, 0-3).

Golden West 89, El Camino 63--Jeannie Battaglia scored 21 points, Kathy Werth 17 and Shanna Armstrong 14 for Golden West (19-1, 3-0) which won its 17th consecutive game.

In the Orange Empire Conference:

Cypress 70, Orange Coast 55--Vicky Silva scored 15 points and Becky Wayland 13 for host Cypress (14-7, 1-0). Gilly Powell scored 14 to lead OCC (9-11, 0-1).
