Oldham’s Three Goals Lead Mater Dei

Mater Dei High School’s Paul Oldham scored three goals for the sixth time this season, helping the Monarchs to a 5-0 Angelus League boys’ soccer victory over Bishop Amat Saturday at Mater Dei.

Oldham assisted on Chris Mastropaolo’s goal two minutes into the first half, then scored two goals before halftime to give Mater Dei a 3-0 lead.

Oldham scored again in the second half, and Mike Ammann scored the final goal for Mater Dei (17-1-1, 3-0). Sam George had two assists and John Coggins had one.

Oldham has scored 28 goals this season.

Bishop Amat goalie Chris Cook had four saves. Mater Dei goalies Ammann and Mike Reis each had one.
