Point Loma High School’s Bob Brasher, The Times’ San Diego County lineman of the year, said Thursday he will attend Arizona State University.

Brasher, a 6-foot 6-inch, 200-pound tight end and outside linebacker, helped lead the Pointers to the San Diego Section 3-A championship. His best game as a senior was one in which he made 4 catches for 157 yards in a 14-13 victory over Morse for the City Eastern League championship.

“They’re talking about using me at outside linebacker, but I’ll play wherever I can,” Brasher said.
