Pat Brown, coach of Brentwood School’s CIF-Southern Section eight-man football championship team, was named the Large Division coach of the year, and Brentwood running back Jay Langan was selected player of the year by a vote of coaches.

Others named to the all-division first team besides Langan included Brentwood senior offensive lineman Josh Chetwynd and Camp Kilpatrick senior running back Renal Wise. Second-team selections included senior linebackers Derek Agnew of Brentwood and Kenyatta Polee of Camp Kilpatrick and Brentwood defensive backs Aaron Short, a junior, and Derek Woodard, a senior.

Heather Dalley of Marymount High School and Catherine Sellman of Marlborough, both seniors, were named to the All-Southern Section 4-A girls volleyball team by the section’s girls volleyball advisory committee.

Junior Kristy Mack of Brentwood was named to the All-1-A first team, and second-team selections included Windward junior Jenny Johnson and Brentwood junior Denis Ross.
