Share

Lincoln High made 50 field goals, including two 3-pointers, en route to defeating Valhalla, 113-94, in a semifinal of the limited division of the Kiwanis tournament Wednesday at Hoover High.

The Hornets played the trademark aggressive full-court press defense that looks for turnovers and easy baskets. They got plenty of both.

Lincoln had four players in double figures: Aaron Wilhite (33 points), Joe Temple (28), Darryl McMillan (22) and Victor Dean (16).
