Packer Ready to Sign

GREEN BAY, Mich. —
The Packers have reached a contract agreement with offensive lineman Tony Mandarich, a team official said today.
“We have agreed on the numbers, but we have not agreed on the terminology and how the money will be paid,” said Tom Braatz, the Packers vice president of football operations.
Mandarich was the Packers’ No. 1 draft pick.
